| 928-11 - Herschell Spillman - $1250 Circa 1907 rounding board shield in the "Screamer" style similar to those on the Carousel at Oaks Parks, Portland, Oregon. All wood, stripped with remnants of old paint. The stylized masculine face wears a headdress of Egyptian fashion and is centered on a shield with a curvilinear perimeter, the corners scrolled and issuing simple foliate decor. 25 high x 16 wide. |
